Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Support Engineer to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot an organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth network operations, resolve connectivity issues, and support users by maintaining secure and reliable network systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks

  • Troubleshoot network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

  • Install, configure, and support network hardware and software

  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 network support to internal users

  • Perform network performance monitoring and optimization

  • Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and policies

  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations

  • Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution

  • Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and expansions

  • Respond to network outages and incidents promptly

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • 0–2 years of experience in network support or IT infrastructure

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting

  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments

  • Understanding of network security principles

  • Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure is a plus)

  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
