Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/macOS operating systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Support email systems, antivirus, and standard business applications
Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance
Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets (Active Directory)
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
Provide on-site and remote support to users
Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

0–2 years of experience in Desktop / IT Support (Freshers can apply if trained)

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking

Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN

Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Jira, etc.)

Good communication and customer-handling skills
