Description

We are looking for a skilled System Support Engineer to maintain, monitor, and support IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while providing technical support to users and collaborating with IT teams to resolve system-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain servers, systems, and IT infrastructure

  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 system support for technical issues

  • Install, configure, and manage operating systems (Windows/Linux)

  • Perform system updates, patches, and performance tuning

  • Troubleshoot system, hardware, and application issues

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures

  • Maintain system documentation and logs

  • Ensure system security, compliance, and uptime

  • Coordinate with network, security, and application teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • 1–4 years of experience in System / IT Support

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and desktop OS

  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience with system monitoring and ticketing tools

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
